Fit and sizing
The double peplum layer starts from the waist and cascades down to your thighs, creating the illusion of a looser fit, whilst actually giving you the full support of a one-piece swimsuit underneath. It instantaneously gives you an hour-glass figure and the capped sleeves frame your arms with another feminine touch. For an average 5’5” woman with her arms placed on her thighs to the side, the Serena’s final peplum falls to the end of her thumb at the front and cascades longer towards the rear and falls to the ends of her fingertips.
Model 1 is 5ft, 7inches / 170cm, 33” bust, 26” waist, 36” hip, is a UK size 8 (EUR 36) and wears Lanuuk size S.
Model 2 is 5ft, 8inches / 173cm, 43” bust, 37” waist, 47” hip, is a UK size 18-20 (EUR 46-48) and wears Lanuuk size XXL (XXXL for a more modest fit).

78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon, 22% Elastane.
ECONYL® yarn is a 100% regenerated nylon fibre from pre and post-consumer waste such as fishing nets and other nylon waste. This sustainable techno-fabric is versatile, hyper-resistant, soft and breathable: a unique mix of muscular compression and comfort. Thanks to its innovative construction, it is twice as resistant to chlorine and suntan creams and oils than other fabrics.

My skin is (classic central European) white as chalk and I only feel comfortable in modest clothes. Covering my skin is essential for me. This swimdress is amazing! High quality fabrics and so soft. Shipping to germany was no problem. Love It!
Hands down my favorite modest swimsuit. It’s so hard to find something stylish yet full coverage. I love the Serena suit so much. The skirt is so forgiving to my midsection and provides the right amount of coverage to my bottom area. I don’t have to pull and reposition this suit like I do other swimwear. Once I come out the water it falls off my body perfectly. I have the new tights that provide a snug fit. I did my normal workout in the pool and let me tell you I LOVE THEM!!! 10/10! Usually when I work out other suits drag once they get wet. The tighter compression is a game changer for swimmers. Definitely love the new improvement on the Serena ! Great fit , true to size and no drag! Quick dry material! The pockets were an added bonus! Highly recommend !
I’ve been searching for a couple of months now for a different burkini to be special and wear it during my honeymoon, thats when i found lanuuk. Im obsessed now and thinking of ordering another one. I tried it out, the sizing was amazing, quality is on point even my fiance referred to it as seems like a high end swimsuit. To be honest was afraid of the color and kept going back and forth between it and the black but im glad i got the azure its one not to miss and compliments my skin tone perfectly.
Love the customer service and everything so i guess like i said this wont be the only time i order the burkinis.
Cant wait to spam you guys with all the posts and photos with my burkini during the honeymoon ♥️
